Perfume Box
Packaging boxes for perfume and fragrance sprays, fitted to bottle shapes and finished with printed paper and foil stamping for a premium fragrance presentation.
Perfume boxes with a protective insert
Perfume boxes carry the highest risk of anything we make, because inside is breakable glass holding a liquid that can leak. If the insert does not truly lock the bottle, the problem is not one damaged unit — it can be the whole carton. So this category always starts with the insert, and the exterior is designed after.
The box itself is formed from rigid board at 2–2.5 mm, because the weight of glass needs walls that will not bow.
An insert that fits the real bottle
A perfume bottle's neck and spray head are more fragile than its body, and impact transferred to the neck is where breakage most often happens. EVA foam die-cut to the bottle profile supports the whole bottle so it cannot move in any direction — unlike loose paper fill or a flat foam sheet, where the bottle still slides.
We recommend sending us the actual bottle to measure and mock up, because specs from a 3D file are usually a little off from the produced bottle, and here a few millimetres of drift decides whether the bottle is held.
Finishes that suit perfume
Perfume sells purely on image, since the customer cannot smell it through the box, so the surface has to work hard. What performs well is a plain dark box — black, deep green, burgundy — with a thin foil line and an embossed logo. That reads more expensive than full-surface printing, at lower cost.
To add depth without adding colour, embossing or debossing works on background patterns.
Proportions this category uses
Perfume bottles are usually tall, so the boxes are mostly vertical. The thing to watch is that a tall box reads as one solid block unless something breaks up the proportion; a foil line at the seam between lid and base solves it. For multi-bottle or gift sets, use a wider box with a compartment tray instead — see gift boxes for that approach.
Printing, foil stamping, coating, die-cutting, and assembly all sit in one factory in Nonthaburi, so colour and registration stay consistent across the run and problems get solved on the floor instead of being passed to a subcontractor.
