Questions Before You Order
What is a rigid box, and how is it different from a regular paper box?+
A rigid box is a hard-sided box built from 1.5–2.5 mm greyboard and then wrapped in printed paper. Unlike a standard folding carton, which has to collapse flat, a rigid box holds its shape, is far sturdier, and looks noticeably more premium — ideal for brand packaging, gift boxes, and product sets.
Lid-over-base or shoulder-neck box — which should I choose?+
A lid-over-base rigid box (the lid slides down over part of the base) feels classic and costs less. A shoulder-neck box has a lid and base of equal height that meet flush, which looks cleaner and gives you more usable interior space. Our team can recommend one based on your product size and budget.
Can I order a small quantity? What is the MOQ?+
Our MOQ is flexible and depends on the job rather than one fixed number. PR box and influencer kit campaigns can start from as few as 50 pieces, which suits new brands and market-test batches. On the other end, we also support large-scale projects with production capacity of 50,000+ pieces within a 15-day production cycle. How many magnets does a magnetic-closure box use, and how strong is it?+
A standard magnetic box has 2 embedded magnets, increased to 4 for larger boxes or boxes that ship frequently. The magnets sit hidden beneath the wrapping paper, so they are invisible from the outside, and the lid stays flush after thousands of open-and-close cycles.
How far in advance should I order mooncake boxes?+
We recommend booking a production slot at least 2 months before the festival, since the queue fills up fast in that season. We produce 4-piece, 6-piece, and 8-piece mooncake boxes with inner trays, as well as mochi and Chinese pastry boxes.
What is the lead time, and which files does the factory need?+
Production takes 10–15 days after artwork approval and deposit payment. Send your logo as a vector AI, PDF, or EPS file, along with the dimensions of the product going inside. If you do not have a dieline yet, our design team can lay one out for you.
